Luxurycare have established themselves a reputation for being innovative and forward thinking within the Care Sector. Our new Green initiative builds on this premise.
Eagles Mount is ideally positioned to enjoy the picturesque views over the stunning Poole Harbour. Maintaining our our beautiful locality for generations to come is of the utmost importance to the Eagles Mount Team, which is why they have pioneered the Home into the UK’s first Carbon Neutral Green Care Home.
With support from Carbon Neutral Britain, and Coacoara Foundation, we are proud to confirm that Eagles Mount Care Home is the first Carbon Neutral Care Home in the UK in line with following the ISO 14064 and GHG Emissions Protocol Accounting Standards. We have made strategic changes to our utility providers, introduced food waste collections not yet available in the Poole arrive by the Council, tree planting schemes, changes to some of the products that we use in our care setting to name but a few. We still have a way to go but being carbon neutral is a brilliant start, and as always we will continue to inspire and aspire.
Eagles Mount Care Home is a well-established family run home in the Heart of Poole. Opened over 20 years ago and under new ownership since May 2016, the Home aspires to lead by example in the Care Home sector, through its up-to-date and dynamic flair, whilst maintaining a comfortable and peaceful ambience.
The philosophy of the Home centres on the residents being cared for as “they wish”, being kept content, safe and well. We aspire to provide the residents with the best level of support and care; tailor made for their abilities and needs. This is achieved by relationship-centred care and a high standard in our staff’s practice. In turn, this provides reassurance and peace of mind for the carers and family members.
The people who live at Eagles Mount Care Home are our priority and with our comprehensive in-house quality assurance auditing and benchmarking assessments, we ensure that the Home’s ethos of ‘where quality of care counts’ is achieved.

There’s a place they call Eagles Mount Care Home
It has great views across the sea.
If I had to stay in a Care Home
It’s the place I’d want to be.
Placing a parent in a home for care
Not an easy decision to make.
With so many to choose from in the Borough of Poole
You’d think it a piece of cake.
But finding the right one, and one that really matters
There are a few out there with rooms you know – with paint and décor in tatters.
But not so the Eagles Mount Care Home and all the lovely staff
As relatives you’re always welcome, to enjoy tea with a smile and a laugh.
Inside the Care Home the Sisters run the floors
With residents in bed at 7… you could call it early doors.
With Angie and Maria it’s care without a sore
They keep the residents safe and sound as they manage the second floor.

"From the admission with the deputy who reassured me and Mum that she will be cared for, I have been able to look after my own health knowing Mum is 100% safe and well cared for. The deputy has helped me deal with social workers and guilt around placing Mum into care."
Daughter of Resident
“It has been very difficult because, since my mother entered the care home, we have been governed by Covid. Despite this, the staff have pulled out all the stops to make sure relatives have good contact with their loves ones. Communication is excellent. Health and safety of everyone is the top priority. The resident are treated as individuals, and all the staff care about them as people - not a number.”
